IANSA Women Network Nigeria emphasises local ownership. We create capacity building activities strategized to make the most impact and lasting results. Timely review meetings to ensure project delivery on scope, time, budget, and with shared values. Based on local context and demands, we use a variety of instruments including training, mentoring, immersion, evidence based advocacy, media campaign to reach wide audience and creative printed writeups (IEC materials) as well as employing collective action with words to engaging with policy makers, Government officials, Traditional leaders/community heads, and key stakeholders to address specific, unanticipated opportunities to influence gender friendly policies for the target group.
